Bipasha Saikia, a shy 9th grader with no real friends, lives quietly in the corners of her high school, finding solace only in her sketchbook. Aariv Subramanian, a handsome 11th grader and admired athlete, seems like her opposite-confident, popular, always in the spotlight.

But behind his easy smile, Aariv hides a truth no one sees. To his parents, he has always been a mistake, and the dreams he once held for himself were buried under their demands that he shine as an athlete. His laughter is loud, but his heart is quietly tired.

When Aariv finds Bipasha's forgotten sketches, their worlds softly collide. She sees beyond his practiced smile, and he sees the beauty she cannot recognize in herself. In stolen glances and unspoken words, they begin to mend each other-her warmth healing wounds she never caused, his tenderness quieting the doubts she's carried too long.

She healed something she never broke. And he showed her the light she never thought she had.

Bipasha's fingers tightened around her sketchbook. Her chest ached, but she met his eyes with a quiet courage.
