Emily and Eliza are from different worlds, here in Manchester, England in 1842. Emily is Eliza's lady's maid, and best friend, though she may be from the slums, she has confidence like no other. Eliza on the other hand was born into wealth in status, but after her parents untimely death, she was rendered alone and scared, leaving her shy and timid. But when Eliza falls for Duke Arthur Griffin and Emily begins to slip for a man named Cecil Harrison, complications arise. Will their friendship pull through, or will they get lost in the traces of their Confidence and Confidentiality?
(Yes this is 100 percent inspired by Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice, and Jane Eyre. Except I only read Pride and Prejudice, Bean read all the others!) This was written with my BFF and co-writer, Bean. This is a play btw, and is written as such. This is also our first writing piece together, so expect imperfection! We are also working on another version of this with the same beloved characters just different plot and setting... and basically everything else!

Ashton Fobes is Alli's bestfriend, well Ex-Bestfriend, he is also her arch nemisis, her sworn enemy, but he is also the only one who can make her push her limits and challenge her in ways she never thought possible. Soon they were playing with Cupid's arrows trying to set up the unlikeliest couple imaginable, but what they seemed to have forgotten was Fate's wierd sense of humor and so it turned out while they were playing with Cupid's Arrows, he was aiming them at these two instead.
