𝐘'𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐆𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐬 was no stranger to destiny. As the firstborn daughter of Atlanna, she was expected to rule Atlantis, even though Mera was only a half-blood. Atlantis disliked anyone who wasn't pure blood. And on top of that Mera didn't even know who her father was.
She just didn't care.
All Mera's father did was drop her off at the doorsteps of the Forbes family. At least, that's what Mera believed. Mera had absolutely no idea who her father was. But then again, as said before, Mera. Didn't. Care.
Her whole life, she stayed with Coraline Forbes. And Mera acted as an older sister to Caroline, someone Carline could love as a sister.
Mera knew almost everyone in her high school. Scratch that. She knew the whole town of Mystic Falls. When Mera took Caroline on a girl's trip, everything seemed to go horribly wrong. Stumbling out of the pub, right before Mera and Caroline climbed into the car. Mera met Aisha, her cousin. Instead, Mera ignored her and got into the driver's seat after hearing what she had to say.
The radio was turned on, playing "Please Don't Stop the Music" by Rihanna in the car. The two sisters sing along when a huge Tsunami knocked the two girls right off their course. If it weren't for Aisha, Caroline would have been dead. And so, the two cousins ventured out into the Ocean to put a stop to Orm's demise and crown Mera the rightful Queen of Atlantis. And find her supposed-to-be dead mother in the Earth's Core...
