The earth was pretty much a death trap. That is–for the few people left. I'll be honest, there aren't many of us.
The world has been infected with a virus. This virus kills almost everyone, and those who survive turn vicious. They are smart, manipulative, and merciless. Even more rare, are the immune, people who with stand the virus altogether. Like Sadie. Her and her two friends were the only immune they know of. Until one day when she is saved by cute, mysterious Devon and his group of immune. The two groups join together in hopes of figuring out what exactly this virus is, and how they can survive it.

7 years ago, an infection spread throughout Earth's population. Many were turned into what can only be described as a zombie. The cause of this infection? Vampires. Vampires have been trying to take over the Earth for centuries. They faced many problems, the main one being their lack of numbers. Turning humans is a dangerous process for both the humans and vampires. The vampires hired scientists to create a synthetic venom to turn humans into vampires. Their first prototype was tested prematurely. It gave the human test subjects extreme speed and strength for 1 hour. They escaped and infected hundreds. The infection spread and mutated till the Earth was overrun by different kinds of hungry human - eating zombies. Vampires aren't the only supernatural creatures. Most of the others have gone into hiding, trying to wait it out. Werewolves, however, are the mortal enemies of vampires. They have formed a guard that protects humans day and night. Delilah
Decades ago, the world came to a halt as humanity knew it. Wars spurred the worldwide deathrates to a new high, businesses closed, and much of the new technology stopped working altogether. As if life could not get much worse for the surviving humanity that was left, creatures of the night came forth from the shadows, ready to claim what was left of the world's society and kill those who opposed the new regimen. However, all of this was unknown to a young woman you lived with her small family in a quiet town, hidden from the chaos of the outside world. The young woman who lived in this town was called Delilah, and this is her story. Please note that this book is a slow-burn. Yes, there is romance. Yes, like my characters you may be left wanting more. Good stuff takes time, give this book a try. Additionally, I started writing this book while I was fresh out of High School, I am now a junior in college. While the writing was not necessarily bad, it has improved greatly with the more recent chapters.
