The night was quiet, the world hushed around them as they stood just outside her gate. A soft breeze played with her hair, and the streetlight above cast a golden glow over them.
Sunghoon looked at her, his gaze lingering on the way her eyes softened when she smiled. "You're really something else, you know that?"
She laughed quietly, stepping closer until there was barely any space between them. "Is that a compliment, Park Sunghoon?"
"The biggest one I've got," he murmured, his voice low, warm.
She tilted her head up, her hands gently resting on his sides. He hesitated only a moment before leaning in, his forehead touching hers. For a second, they just breathed - the moment slow, electric, unspoken.
Then their lips met.
It was slow at first, tender - the kind of kiss that said more than words ever could. He pulled her a little closer, one hand brushing the side of her face as if she might disappear. Her fingers curled into the fabric of his shirt, holding onto him like she didn't want to let go.
When they finally parted, their breaths mingled in the space between them.
"I should go," she whispered, eyes still closed.
"I know," he said, but he didn't move.
Neither did she.
