Stranger Things (S5): Warren In Hawkins

The rifts to the Upside Down are spreading, the town is locked under military quarantine, and Vecna is gone. But they all know that he is still out there

Dragged back into the fight, Daniel Warren returns to Hawkins with his parents, famed demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren, his sister Judy, and her husband Tony Spera. They're not here for a case this time; they're here for family.

On the other side of the ocean, Janet Hodgson and her older sister Margaret refuse to let Daniel face all of this alone. Reunited in Hawkins, Janet finds herself fighting beside the people of Hawkins, trying to save a town she's just met and a boy she's already decided she won't lose, EVER again.

As Holly Wheeler is taken, kids across Hawkins start dreaming of a mysterious "Mr. Whatsit" who knows too much about monsters, and the military begins rounding children up "for their own safety".

Hopper and Eleven battle their way through a secret Upside Down lab, Will's connection to Vecna's hive mind begins to twist into something new and terrifying, and Daniel is haunted by visions where Vecna and Valak overlap, two evils testing the limits of his sanity.

Caught between demons and demogorgons, possession and psychic warfare, the Warrens, Hodgsons, and the Hawkins kids forge an unlikely army: exorcists and monster hunters, traumatised survivors and sarcastic teenagers.

Together, they hatch impossible plans to save targeted children, trying to stay one step ahead of a killer who plays with minds like pieces on a board.

Because this time, it isn't just Hawkins on the line. It's every soul Daniel loves... and the thin, fraying line between our world, the Upside Down, and something far older that has never forgotten his name.
