It takes place in Ventford Hall, in Massachusetts. Back in 1960, a spaceship crash lands in the mansion. In 1963, when the mansion got rebuilt, a man named James Landon passed away. And in the present of 2015, his son, Percy Landon and grandson, Lane Landon afford the mansion.
No matter how bad he wanted to go to sleep, Lane hears unstoppable grinding echoes in the halls of the mansion

However nothing on the tour is as it seems. Wysteria has more responsiblity than she ever wanted, and she's going to lose more than she ever thought possible.
