BLOOMING SPRING

Spring usually marks the beginning of something new, but for 17 years old Jeongin, each new season is a struggle for one more day. He has cystic fibrosis, which prevents him from living a carefree life, yet his smile can illuminate even the darkest hallways of school. When Seungmin joins his class-a boy with a calm gaze and a heart full of untold stories-Jeongin immediately senses that this meeting will change everything. Seemingly different, they begin spending more and more time together, discovering kindred spirits in each other and finding the warmth they both desperately need.

Jeongin, though physically weak, is full of life and dreams, and his mother fights a silent battle daily with fear for her son. Seungmin, on the other hand, escapes the cold of his own home by living with his grandmother and his faithful dog, finding in his friendship with Jeongin something he never experienced in his family. A tender yet inevitable feeling blossoms between them, as fragile and beautiful as spring buds.
