The Choice of Compassion is a collection of poems born from my deepest conviction that poetry is a divine language - one that can touch hearts, awaken empathy, and remind humanity that there are still souls on Earth whose hearts are vast enough to feel compassion for both those who are like them and those who are not.
Each poem flows from a heart devoted to true love, wisdom, and truth - a humanitarian spirit intertwined with both joy and sorrow. In many of my verses, I remember and honor my Lord, Saviour, and Messiah, Jesus Christ, for He is the source of my strength, my peace, and my everything.
Through these humble but powerful poems, I hope to sow seeds of kindness, to nurture forgiveness where pain has taken root, and to reveal that the choice of compassion is not only an act of unconditional love - it is the sacred path toward a more merciful and peaceful world.

Pain Reconciled by Love
This book is published on amazon.com. I put it on here for Wattpadders to read for free! Have you ever felt so much emotional pain that you just wanted to end it all? Have you ever felt so much physical pain that you thought death was nearer than you had hoped for? Maybe you have felt one, but not both, or maybe you have felt both. These poems were written for those who have felt pain like no other. You may be your own worst enemy, but you are also your own best friend. Sometimes, no one is there to help you get up off that floor, so it is up to you to help your own self. Once you find that you can take care of yourself, you can take care of and love others. Humans need love to survive. If we didn't have love, we'd all be robots and simply not human. The love doesn't have to be from a significant other. Maybe it's from a best friend or close family member? Just know that we are all in this game of life together. So, let's live it with love. I had entered the deepest depths of pain and agony. I had given up on my life. I tried to end my life, and I would have been successful. Three people saved me that day, at the end of 2017. First, was myself. I had to come to terms with who I was and turn it all back around. I had to lean on my Creator, who was my second life saver. Jesus came to my aid and saved my life after I tried to take it. The third person who saved me was my husband. Before we met I would have died, but he needed me just like I needed him. I am alive for him, for my two sons, for myself, and for my Heavenly Father. "I couldn't make it stop, Until I met my rock. So, here are my words of wisdom, "Pain reconciled by love" is my rhythm." There is hope. There is a purpose to this life. Pain Reconciled by Love is full of heartache, but also full of beauty. I'm still alive because there is something for me out there. I hope this is the beginning to something beautiful. The Weight We Carry
Every heart holds a story, and every story leaves a weight behind. The Weight We Carry is a living collection - written in real time, in the middle of survival, burnout, healing, and trying again anyway. These poems come from the spaces between responsibilities: grocery aisles, late nights, applications, shifts, side hustles, and the quiet moments when everything finally catches up. This collection explores the ache of memory, the exhaustion of caring too much, the frustration of broken systems, and the complicated reality of choosing to help when it costs you something. There is grief here, and anger, and dark humor. There is healing, but it is not linear. Hope shows up when it can, but it doesn't pretend to fix everything. Through raw, unfiltered verses, The Weight We Carry holds space for the people who keep going without applause - the helpers, the burned out, the ones trying to build something better while still carrying their own survival on their backs. These poems are for anyone who has felt the weight of the world press down and kept moving anyway. Not because it was easy. But because stopping was never really an option.
God Knows You By Name
A random journal/blog/diary with poems and lyrics, many about NAMES - my name, your name, and other names. Also, a diary of journeys we go on in our thoughts, actions, deeds, and beliefs. The genre 'Random' fits this work perfectly. The idea for sharing comfort from one's name began on May 17th, 2018, with the confirmation that I have cancer and needed more surgery and perhaps on-going treatment. How advanced it was had to be determined by an MRI and X-ray... this was the start of this journey and how everything changed when I focussed on God instead of myself. Dedicated to Elsa whose encouragement has been a great source to inspire me in my writing and in particularly this journal-book for the journeys we each travel in our mission to please our Saviour, Jesus Christ. After 40 chapter/parts, I've pressed the 'complete' button and likely will begin another in 2019 - in the meantime I have another work here titled, 'Bible Verses, Images and Poems' which has 17 parts and I'm updating it with a Christmas Poem today.
