This is a screenplay based off of the story of Eli Rivera, an aspiring musician who learns that fame isn't all what it's cracked up to be. As the story goes on, Eli gets kidnapped for a few days with a vile man named Carter...but after Carter's capture, Eli decides to break away from fame for a while to become a police officer.
In the screenplay, Eli goes to an open mic contest at an old, dingy club across town in Downtown Brooklyn. At the end of the song, an unknown girl posts a video of Eli singing, which goes viral on YouTube.
