With the help of Luca van Rensburg, a boy her father once mentored, Naledi navigates a dangerous web of coded chess moves leading to a warehouse filled with surveillance equipment and chessboards with missing pieces. As tensions rise and the game becomes more real, Naledi finds herself a "pawn" in a deadly game where someone is watching her every move.
