Ivy is a normal kit born into a two leg nest, but when her housefolk leave and leave behind her mother and litter mates, the join bloodclan. as she grows up, She realized that bloodclan wasn't as great of a place she thought it to be. Then Scourge decided that he should have a heir to lead bloodclan after he is gone. He has his closest friends, the toms Bone and Brick, go and get all she cats old enough to bear kits to be presented to him. She is chosen, much to her distress.

The story of a great cat is about to be revealed. This cat had the same beginning as Scourge, tortured by her brother and sister, regarded as weak because of her size, and attacked by Clan cats because she was trespassing unknowingly. Well, this cat also has a similar fate as Scourge, she will seek revenge just as he did, she will kill cats just like him, and she will lead just like Scourge. Every cat has a choice to follow two paths, a path with glory, light, and loyalty or a path of bloodshed, darkness, and evil. Although, she will become successful in where Scourge failed. Her claws are sharper, her heart is colder and her mind is darker than Scourge could ever imagine. So will she succeed in where the former BloodClan leader failed? Nothing will ever be the same again." All that remains are three Clans. "We must pull together if we want to survive and see to the future. If we don't, the Clans will forever fall." AirClan had succumbed to a storm that tore down their forest and ruined their territory, BoneClan was chased out by Twolegs who were then chased out by rogues and loners, and finally and the most recent, StreamClan has fallen to the rogues and loners that drove the Twolegs from BoneClan's former home.
