"The Refused Champion" [POKÉMON OC + AU]

Veralynn beat Geeta-the Top Champion of Paldea, but not for the fame or glory. She did it out of pure spite; a quick and easy victory to prove a point she'd held for years. So when she was offered the grand title, she refused it on the spot which left the entire Pokémon League and a few others in shock.

She then stepped out of the spotlight and onto her own path, a journey defined not by stickers, ranks, or even titles, but by the seven Pokémon who stuck with her through everything.
