Eighteen years, nine months and two days ago, Paige was bitten by a vampire. Nine months later she gave birth to a healthy, normal, beautiful baby girl and named her Abigail. Paige left her at the hospital that same night after giving birth. The doctors were baffled; the mother appeared very loving with the child for the few short hours before she vanished without a word. The child was later adopted by a kind and caring family and was raised well. One thing that the doctors, Paige, and Abigail’s family didn’t know; Abigail was a carrier for vampirism, something that never before has happened, and it would only take a fresh infection to bring to life those dormant cells and create something that the underground vampire world had never seen before. Paige, having kept a distance from the child, finds out about this potential catastrophe and is faced with the decision of protecting her daughter so that she can live her life out in peace and oblivion while protecting both the human and vampire race. Primarily a monster, but also a mother, Paige is conflicted with where her loyalties lay.

REVISED EDITION COMING OUT MONTHLY/COMPLETED In a world overrun by zombies, A single bite heralds doom - except for Kaindra, who defies death itself, being undead already. ******** As humanity struggles to adapt to the new reality of zombies-infested streets and lurking supernatural creatures from ancient myths and legends, survival becomes an ever-evolving challenge. Survival is a constant battle not only against the undead but also against supernatural creatures and their zealous followers. The relentless onslaught of zombies and the mysterious reemergence of mythical beings push society to its limits. Civilization's last bastions fall one by one, teetering on the brink of collapse. As these ancient myths awaken, they reveal intentions that are far from clear- some may hold the key to salvation, while others could herald further doom. The question remains: Can humanity unravel the mysteries of these legendary beings in time to save themselves, or will they fall prey to the very legends they once dismissed? ___ Excerpt: Taking a deep breath, I lean closer to the mirror, my skin prickling. I thought it was a trick of the light, but as I stare at my reflection, my fragile lies crumble away. The reflection staring back at me feels unrecognizable. My once deep, dark brown eyes now glimmer with an otherworldly light, like twin moons suspended in a sea of silver. The faint glow within them swirls softly, catching the dim flicker of flame I summoned, like ripples across a moonlit lake. Their alien intensity sends a chill down my spine. The orbs seemed to hold a universe within, depths of endless mysteries and ancient wisdom beyond my grasp. ___ Warning: Mentions of suicide and self-harm Beautiful cover made by @scmimi. He reminded her of a tiger- no a lion- always ready to pounce, never thinking once about their prey. Once upon a time, she was that prey. He hated her. He stalked her. He wanted her. She wanted him. They wanted each other. She was the gazelle, the wounded zebra the herd left behind. In other words, there was no way she was escaping this beast. But, somehwere in the mix of sex, hatred, and completely unnecessary outings, something else started to make itself know inside her. It made her want him more, and she already knew he wanted her with everything that was in him even though he refused that notion with every single fibre of his being. All the more, it was still there, and that left one thing. That one thing was to finally get together then, and now right? Wrong. It's all fun and games till somebody falls in love But you've already bought a ticket And there's no turning back now....
