I hear a gunshot and watch the kid in front of me crumple to the floor. By the time the second is fired I'm already crouched down, avoiding the next shot.

That's when the screaming begins.

It shouldn't end like this, everyone here is too young and reckless to go so soon.

They say your parents are supposed to go before you do and the kids that got hit won't even get to say goodbye to their parents.

I stand up quickly and duck behind a corner avoiding more shots.

I start to plan. How and who am I going to save right now?

By now the kids in my school are running and screaming like this is Chicken Little, and the sky is falling, but who can blame them? It's not often that your school has a shooting and you watch the life drain from all the teacher's and staff's faces.

I try and not think about the fact that I just watched one of my classmates get shot. I can't dwell on that if I'm going to try and get out of this mess with some survivors.

"I can hide my ugly soul beside this face but ugly ducklings like you carry their ugliness which can't even be hidden by beautiful dresses because they stain everything around them with their ugliness" his words were hurting my soul. I won't give him the privilege to see my tears. With all my power I pushed him making him stumble and fall into the pool. Shocked, the police rush over to gather the evidence and clues, but before they even assemble their evidence, the police are led to another death. One by one, deaths occur around town, faster than the police can count. There's not much in common with all of the murders, only the fact that all of the victims come from one class. In the course on one year, the class of 18 shrinks drastically. PART 2 As summer vacation begins, the remains of the class split. Five students tell their stories of meeting new people, near death experiences, and funny incidences. PART 3 More than what meets the eye happened in the course of the summer. The class comes back to a new year, utterly shocked to find that 4 new students have joined their class. Everything starts out alright, but people are getting frantic. However, what he lived with her caused him to bring out what he hated the most about himself from within. -Forget it love- said a woman who was next to her- it's not worth it- this dog was supposed to be her friend, she was supposed to support her just like she did; however he managed so that he and she hated each other and thus be able to steal it. The woman on the floor does not know how much she was framed and harmed by her naivety, nor did she know that this was the beginning of her misfortunes. Because of that woman she did not stop suffering, wherever she went she suffered verbal or physical abuse and everything was orchestrated by this woman; she didn't know until she was about to faint. "Why?" She asked this unarmed woman without knowing why she hated him so much. She never did anything to hurt him. She just laughed viciously without answering him, she didn't have to waste her time with an insect; leaving La to die imprisoned in the house where she was kidnapped. "Answer me!" She got up from her bed screaming "Eh? This looks like my room; Did I reincarnate myself in the past?" She ran to the bathroom just to see that her assumption was correct. She thanked the heavens for this second chance by promising that she wouldn't be fooled a second time.

In the background he would always hear a gunshot, screaming, evil laughter, screeching tires, all the bad stuff he had heard through out that year. He started yelling "Stop! Stop it! Leave me alone! Don't hurt me! Ash you'll be alright! Tom no! Stop!" Soon all of this was too much and he passed out on the floor and the last thing he heard was Ash's voice saying "Squid, stay with me buddy, come on, don't close your eyes" then nothing, just quiet and darkness. School's out and the gang decide to go on a holiday near Brighton Pier to try and forget the year they've had but, will it be that easy? They think it's all over but really, it was only the beginning. Someone returns wanting revenge and Squid becomes a target. Always having to look over his shoulder to see if he is safe and relying on others for his safety but, is that enough? When someone ends up in hospital, it starts to tear Squid apart as his world starts to crumble at his feet yet again. #Wattys2017
