Any fantasy? Dark-" The words caught in my throat the moment I realized what I had almost asked. A man I had nearly killed minutes ago. The knife resting between us spun lazily over the hard surface of the car hood, metallic sound slicing through the silence after every turn. Seven rounds of truth. Seven times it had stopped at him. Not me.Him. Rain-heavy clouds crowded the sky above us while distant thunder rolled across the empty highway. He leaned back against the car as if none of this bothered him. As if the blade wound on his thigh wasn't still bleeding beneath his dark clothes. "Darkest?" he repeated slowly, a smirk tugging at one corner of his lips. My fingers tightened unconsciously around the handle of my knife. He noticed. Of course he did. "Going rough under a storm like this," he said without hesitation, his gaze lifting toward the dark sky around us. "Where she sounds wilder than the rain falling on us and-" . . "And-?" I asked before I could stop myself. His eyes returned to mine this time. Completely. "And... seven rounds." The way he said it-calm, shameless, certain-made heat crawl beneath my skin despite the cold wind brushing against us. "Why specific to seven?" The question slipped out instantly. . . His gaze darkened with amusement. "Mm..." A sharp hiss left his lips as he pressed his palm harder against the blade wound on his left thigh-the same wound I had carved there moments ago. . . His brows lifted teasingly before he winked. "Why?" His voice dropped lower. "You want more? Ten?" . . "Go to hell." . . The next second, my back pressed against the hard surface of the car hood while he stood over me, trapping me beneath him. . . "Why seven?" he whispered against my ear, his voice almost drowned beneath the storm. "From 06:55 PM till 11:56 PM..." His grip tightened slightly against my nape. "You said 'I hate you' seven times, Petal." . . "That's why." . . "And this time-the rain approved me" [ STUDENT PROFESSOR DARK ROMANCE]
