Feeling betrayed, misunderstood, chewed up and spat out by the world, its when I get sonder, that I realise I might not be as alone as I thought. This is my autobiography, in a series of harsh and delicate words, painted as a story. I used to think there'd be no living without you. Then, you walked away. Like it was the easiest thing in the world. We finally stopped making sense to you. So, you left. Why wouldn't you. It didn't matter that it still made sense to me. That I still held on to all those what ifs and unanswered questions of us. Still hoped for things to work out somehow. That is my conversation between my stepmother and me. Why do I hate her so much? Well I have my own reason. She did so many bad things in her life. Relationship between siblings and parents have been destroy because of her. My heart has been tore into pieces and maybe love can help me? Everything Hurts
I knew what was coming later tonight, not only at home, but on the way there. I knew that reacting right now would just make it worse though. So I kept quiet and pretended that I was not dreading when I would be alone with the man that stood beside me, wondering when it became so normal to do so. Jason and Alicia have the perfect relationship from the outside looking in, but Alicia has kept her wounded spirit and body hidden well. After another one of Jason's violent rages that is impossible to hide, Alicia is finally able to get away from the abuse though. In the process of healing, she begins to relearn what trust, compassion, and safety are once again - that is, until Jason discovers her whereabouts. "Dreamweaver: First Poetry Collection" (2017-2021): Book 1 among my poetry collections. If you read my poetry collections from oldest to newest, you'll get to see the evolution and changes my style undergoes over time. However, there is no required reading order. Poetry is meant to be enjoyed, read how and what you wish. 😌 Formerly titled "A Dreamweaver's Poetry", this is my first and oldest poetry collection. It contains almost all of the poems I wrote between the years of 2017 and 2021. There is no central theme, I simply wrote what would come up. Whether Haiku, rhyming, non-rhyming, about love, pain, or life, they're all here, and they're all raw. Any editing I have done of the actual poems has been minimal, mostly consisting of reformatting, fixing commas, periods, etc. None of the actual content.
