This is my first ever story I wrote by myself with no help, and it took me roughly around 6 months to write. Please enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it! It may not be the best written or told story, but it was a way to help me.

Darkness, pain, and Death were all she knew before She met Him, the light to her very existence the only man who taught her how to love and loves her despite the endless abyss of pain, anger, hatred and darkness she leys herself sink into everyday All he knew was the bright side of life before He met Her, the woman who seemed to pull him to her in ways he couldn't understand and despite that, wanted to stay "What is it about her that draws me to her? She is so beautiful, but why does she look so lonely?" he thought to himself as he watched her

They were never supposed to meet again, but fate had other plans. They were never strangers. They just became people who knew everything about each other, Except how to fix what they broke. She loved him like it was the only thing keeping her from falling apart. He left like he couldn't feel it. Years passed. Cities changed. Names got softer on unfamiliar lips. But silence never erased the way they ended. And when fate threw them back into the same room, One bleeding, Other one breaking, The past didn't knock. It kicked the door down. This is not a story of falling in love. It's what happens after.

She thought love was supposed to heal her... until she met the man who tore her world apart while making her crave him even more.

People carry grief differently. Some let it shape them. Others let it hollow them out until there's nothing left but survival. They choose solitude, because what is the point of living when the soul is gone? Leo doesn't carry grief; he's buried beneath it. Ariella is left to watch it destroy the man her best friend loved. Two people, broken in different ways: one trying to outrun grief, the other trying to escape the pain of witnessing it.
