2812. There's is only one city left in the entire world, and sixteen year old Eliana Solano is a part of it. In the city, filled with poverty and crime, she lives together with her mother, who's in a wheelchair, her twin sister Avila and her father, who has to work 80 hours a week to feed his family. Every year, the sixteen year olds in the city are forced to take a test that will decide their future: do they have to leave their family and friends behind forever, or can they stay? No one knows where the chosen ones will go, and what the future will hold for them. [I am aware it might sound a bit like THG or Divergent, but in the next chapter you'll realize it's nothing alike.
