But along the way, deception came through a man who lured her into sin. What was once a consecrated altar became desecrated, and the vessel of honor turned into a vessel of dishonor. The story is a sober reminder of how easily purity can be defiled when vigilance is lost, and a call to every believer to guard their hearts, flee deception, and remain steadfast in holiness.
