However, in real life, reality shifts are subtle rewrites of the timeline. They appear suddenly, and it's hard to notice when they happen. But me? Oh, I noticed. I noticed when my favourite band vanished from existence. I noticed when my friends didn't know who I was talking about. And, most importantly, I noticed when one of the band's members started attending my school.
