It was the only word she carried out of the rubble. With trembling hands and ragged breaths, she grew up in a factory filled with others just like her, each one a perfect replica, all unique in their sameness. She was no different, yet somehow she was. An identical soldier, pressed from the same mold... but she slipped through their grasp. Or was she released?

As the Avengers stay busy fighting intergalactic threats, they somehow now have to find time to accommodate another 16-year-old girl who fancies the art of practiced snark instead of self-preservation.
