Goldenheart has always been the ideal SkyClan warrior - brave, selfless, and loyal to a fault. In his years as a senior warrior, he's highly respected amongst his peers for his unwavering dedication to the place he feels lucky to call home. However, Goldenheart has never been lucky enough to achieve what he truly desires in life.

A family.

Ever since he was a kit, Goldenheart dreamed of a mate and kits. Unfortunately, fate and StarClan seemed to have other plans.

When Goldenheart is assigned to mentor Willowpaw, a young and promising she-cat cursed with the misfortune of a shattered family, the warrior finds himself being less of a mentor. Instead, he quietly steps into the role of a father that Willowpaw always needed while she becomes the daughter he never had.

Now, as a threat looms over SkyClan that threatens to bring it to ruins from within, Goldenheart and Willowpaw must work together to restore stability to their home while simultaneously navigating the choppy waters of this evolving dynamic and coming to terms with emotions they've long buried.
