The day All Might and All For One destroyed each other, Japan lost far more than its greatest hero.
Their final battle left entire cities in ruins, thousands dead, and the public's faith in heroes shattered. All Might lies comatose in a hospital bed, kept alive by machines. All For One rots in Tartarus. Between them, they left behind a world without a symbol, without leadership, and without hope.
Years later, hero society has collapsed.
Crime runs rampant. Hero agencies have gone bankrupt. Corruption infects the institutions that once promised justice. The wealthy hide behind the walls of fortified cities protected by corporate-sponsored heroes, while vast regions of the country have been abandoned to gangs, vigilantes, black markets, and desperate survivors.
A new law forces every citizen to register and rank their Quirk from S to D, with the lowest ranks treated little better than the Quirkless. Opportunity is reserved for the powerful. The weak are forgotten.
Government propaganda fills every screen. Surveillance drones watch from above. The Hero Commission struggles to maintain the illusion of order while the nation slowly rots from within.
In the shadows of this broken society, former heroes, villains, outcasts, and ordinary people fight to survive. Some seek justice. Some seek power. Others simply refuse to be crushed by the world they inherited.
This is not the age of heroes.
This is the age that came after their failure.
