Promises; they could make or break a relationship based on the fact of weather you would keep or break them. They had the power to change your life and ruin it all at the same time. Without promises I dont think we could really have trust. How can you trust someone if you never give them a chance to show you how trustworthy they can be. Promises did that for us.
