Jess Marsden used to believe she was beyond saving. Now thst she's gone, she has Elijah and Tara wondering if that's true.

Jess sacrificed herself to save the agents of the MOM, and now they're forced to navigate their lives without her, all while trying to act on the lead she gave them to bring their mom home...or so they thought.

When Jess returns with no memory of who she is or what happened to her, Elijah and Tara both have to confront their complicated feelings regarding mourning her death, being relieved about her return, and being angry about her choice to leave them.

To top it all off, a dark presence has been spying on the MOM, and the Raelos are feeling the loss of Darius, driving them to reach for the power he left behind. Combine that with new agents and not knowing who you can trust and you've got a a chaotic recipe for disaster.

The one thing that remains is the MOMs core believe system: You are never behind saving.

Will knew something wasn't right. JJ had her crazy schedules and, sometimes, she would tell him she wouldn't be picking up Henry only fifteen minutes before the agreed time. It drove Will insane most of the times, but, in a way, he understood why it happened. JJ was a FBI agent, she was part of the most renowned team at the bureau, she saved lives for a living and sometimes Will did feel selfish about expecting her to be more present, but he knew better than to ask her to try and stay in D.C. more often. She would refuse it - he learned that the wrong way. She'd say that was her job and that was what she loved to do and that was what she needed to be doing. And, as much as he understood, as much as he admired her for that and for the fact that she was still the most doting and caring mother he could have ever asked for their son, it still drove him insane. He hated when she cancelled her plans with Henry because of work because the six-years-old was always so excited to see mommy, but, that day, that wasn't what was happening. That day, something else was going on and Will didn't like it at all. Because, yes, JJ often cancelled her plans with Henry, but she never - never - did it without letting Will know first. He would always get a message when it happened. They were usually short and quick, just to let him know. Child abduction in Ohio, sorry, send Henry my love or Bodies found in L.A., have to go. Give Henry a kiss for me but this time... This time there was nothing. One minute, Clara was walking home. The next, she was gone. Kidnapped off the street by three strangers-Ezra, Silas, and Lucian-she wakes up in a mansion too perfect to be real. Every room is tailored to her. Every meal, every hobby, every word-they knew everything. And now they expect her to play along in their twisted version of a family. They wanted her. To them, Clara is the missing piece. The daughter they've been waiting for. The one they've been preparing for. Every room is made for her. Every rule is meant to shape her. And every smile hides something sick. Ezra. Calm, calculating, always three steps ahead. No matter how careful Clara is, he sees through her. Every lie. Every escape attempt. Every flicker of rebellion. Silas is distant and cold, but dangerous in his silence. Silas keeps his distance-but when he looks at her, it's like he sees straight through. And Lucian... Lucian's the gentle one.The one who brings her hot chocolate with extra marshmallows and brushes her hair. The one who says this is all for her own good. Lucian is soft-spoken and kind... almost like he wants her to believe this could be real. But it isn't. They don't want her freedom. They want her obedience. Her love. Her role. They call it family. She calls it a nightmare. But if Clara wants to survive, she might have to play along. Even if it means pretending to love her captors. _________________________________________ Author's Note: This is a story I've been wanting to post and now I've finally done it. This is a powerful and moving story. It's a testament to the strength of love, resilience, and the human spirit. Here are a few of the things that make this story particularly compelling: * Strong Characters: The characters are well-developed and relatable. Adeline's vulnerability, Colby's protective instincts, Sam's loyalty, and the unwavering support of Kris and Celina are all portrayed with depth and authenticity. * Intriguing Plot: The story blends elements of horror, romance, and family drama seamlessly. The suspense of Oliver's threats, the terror of his captivity, and the eventual triumph over adversity create a compelling narrative. * Emotional Depth: The story explores a wide range of emotions, from fear and despair to love, joy, and the profound gratitude for life and family. The emotional rollercoaster is both intense and believable, drawing the reader deeply into the characters' experiences. * Focus on Family: The story emphasizes the importance of family, both blood and chosen. The support system that Adeline and Colby build around them, the love and resilience of their friends, are crucial to their survival and happiness. * Hopeful Ending: Despite the darkness of the past, the story ends on a note of hope and optimism. The image of the family together, celebrating growth, is a powerful reminder that even in the face of adversity, love and resilience can prevail. This story is a testament to the human spirit's ability to overcome challenges and find joy in the midst of darkness. It's a story that will stay with me for a long time. trigger warnings! Audrey Denali was a beautiful Native American girl. She was wise beyond her years. She was actually quite smart; graduating high school by the age of fifteen. One thing about Audrey that everyone should know, was that she had secrets. The secrets were kept between her and her mother, Odina. When Audrey was eighteen years old, she was attacked by a man while out with her friends. The man was later captured, after he had apparently attacked three other girls. Unlike the other girls, Audrey fell pregnant. The pregnancy wasn't easy, nor was it easy to hide from anyone else on the reservation, but she and her mother were able to keep the secret. When the pregnancy was no longer able to be hidden, Odina decided it was time for Audrey to branch out on her own. Instead of staying on the reservation, Audrey decided to find herself a home in the city. She figured if she got away from the reservation, she could find herself a boyfriend and be able to hide what happened to her. Everyone on the reservation would've accepted her son, but she felt ashamed of herself, so she couldn't make herself stay. Mateo Ezra Denali was born right after Audrey's nineteenth birthday. Audrey loved Mateo more than anything, even though she had to leave her home to raise him. He was her whole world, even at times when her world seemed to be crashing around her. A year later, when Audrey and Mateo were on their way home from the park, they were grabbed by a man who had been kidnapping women and their babies. The BAU had to work together fast to save Mateo and Audrey before the unsub had a chance to kill them. During the time they were trying to find the unsub and the people he captured, Garcia uncovers secrets the team never seen coming...
