Mackenzie (aka Mack) Szabo doesn't do improv.
Not on the field, not in her life, and definitely not with a team called the Pine Rats-a semi-pro baseball circus in rural Oregon that plays the game like it's part sport, part performance art, and part group therapy.

She was this close to a legendary career-Team USA slugger, Olympic hopeful-before an injury blew it all up. Now she just wants a steady coaching gig, a decent paycheck, and to be taken seriously in a sport that still treats her like a novelty act.

Instead, she gets glitter, dancing mascots, and Isaiah "Ziggy" Medina-former MLB golden boy turned self-proclaimed captain of chaos. He's all sunshine, shirtless promos, and relentless optimism. Mack knows his story: the big temper, the bigger fall, the viral brawl that made him a cautionary tale. And now he's her player.
