Darkness Between us

In a quiet town, tucked away in an ivy-shrouded cottage, lives Nyx, one of the last vampires. She has spent the last 1900 years of her immortal life hiding in plain sight, careful never to draw too much attention, or atleast that's what all the remaining vampires had agreed on. Nyx had other ideas. she wanted to preserve what little normalcy she could obtain. So, she tried to blend in with the town folk.

One night, on the wall of her favorite bar a flyer was posted. "Masquerade Ball".

On the night of, Beneath chandeliers and swirling gowns, she seems a familiar man, a charming stranger whose quick wit and warmth draws her in. Behind their masks, they share laughter, secrets, and the kind of connection nyx has long thought impossible.

But before the night can unfold, the masquerade is violently stormed by the Lux Eternas, a name for the best of the best mythical hunters. Specially, vampire hunters. They held the only weapons that could kill vampires

Panic floods the ballroom. Nyx flees into the shadows, terrified her identity will be revealed.
