After standing up to Lady Tremaine and helping Cinderella reclaim her happy ending, Anastasia finally breaks free from her mother's control. But freedom comes at a cost-her mother and Drizella have disowned her, and the palace is no place for someone who has spent most of her life as an outcast.
With nowhere else to go, Anastasia sets out on a journey to find the one person who ever loved her for who she truly was: the Baker.
But months have passed since she last saw him, and doubt begins to creep in. Does he still love her? Did he move on? Would he even recognize her after all this time?
Her search leads her back to the village, only to find his bakery closed, the shutters drawn, and whispers that he left after she disappeared from his life. Determined not to lose him again, Anastasia follows a trail of rumors and fading memories, leading her through winding roads, small towns, and quiet forests.
When she finally finds him, he is not the same hopeful man she once knew. Heartbroken and convinced she abandoned him; he no longer believes in fairytales. Anastasia must prove to him that her love was never a lie-that she was trapped in her mother's grasp, but now she has chosen her own path.

But what she didn't know was that a long time pursuer is tailing her to kill Anastasia. --- This is kinda not(?) a fanfiction, but a retelling of a mashup of Disney and Broadway's Anastasia.
