Four teenage boys have been wandering the planes of the Earth since the breakout, trying to find a way into one of the world's settlements. But the doors are firmly shut. Always have been. Until the group meet a girl. She's determined to survive, and has connections in one of the world's most secure settlements. But can they really trust her not to lead them into a trap?
Victoria left the settlement when she was thirteen, and she's been seeing the outside world since. When she meets four boys who are desperate to get away from that world, she agrees to help them. But is it really wise for her to let outsiders in?
