Maybe the guy at the corner store is a hidden immortal, maybe he just hates avocado toast-you never know anymore.
And let's not forget those so-called 'friends' who keep popping up with suspiciously good advice or just happen to have daggers up their sleeves (sometimes literally). Li Wei's inner circle is less "BFFs" and more "Game of Thrones: WeChat edition". He tries to play it cool, but even he can't trust his own heart-especially when it keeps catching feelings for the absolute worst possible choice. Maybe it's fate, or maybe romance just likes to screw with him.
Secrets? Man, he stumbles over new ones every other Tuesday-like 'the universe is secretly held together by chi and bad decision making' level secrets. One bad move, and Li Wei could accidentally trigger a dimension-shattering showdown. Zero pressure, right?
