When Draco Malfoy appeared at her safe house, begging her to travel back in time and kill Lord Voldemort before he became Lord Voldemort, Margaret Cavalier did not really have a reason to refuse. Harry Potter was dead, killed brutally in the Battle of Hogwarts. A few members of the Order of the Phoenix remained alive, with many of them opting to run or hide. The world as she knew it was long dead and gone. So she agreed. After all, she had nothing to lose.
