Looking at her, he noticed the hint of something more. He could see behind the screen of smiles and sarcasm while no one else seemed to be intrigued by the girl before them.
Looking at herself, she saw a smart girl with stupid problems. She saw her carefully build facade slowly crumbling and hoped that no one noticed. She saw herself in ways that she hoped no one else ever would. No one had ever tried to see past her wall, what happens when someone finally does?
