The Place I'll Stay
I never thought I would be in this position. Fighting a battle I can't win, facing a future I can't control. Finally happy with the life I live while being faced with the possibility that I won't survive it. Yet here I am. Forced to confront the ghost of my mothers death, my tormentor of nine years, and a truth I wish I could forget. For the first time in my life, I want to live. But how do I do that when every day could be my last? How do I find out who I really am when I've spent so long pretending to be someone I wasn't, out of survival? This is my story. And yet I'm not sure I'll survive it.
Brothers
Older brothers. I have more than people could handle. I have 8 brothers. Well one is my twin, but surprise surprise he likes to make it known that he is older. Sometimes it sucks being the only girl, but I wouldn't change it for the world. My name is Alora. I am 14 years old and a freshmen in high school. People think that my family is perfect and that we have never had anything bad happen to us. We lost our mom over 9 years ago. I also had something bad happen to me, but I will get into more detail in the story. This book is just for fun. And this book is inspired by so many people, so if something seems similar tell me so I can give credit, but I would love to give a few books that inspired me to write this are "I'm a Costello," by _crazy_hooman_ , "The Storm's Return," by Cocomazza, "Our Little Moon" by nunu110383, and finally "Resilience" by liswatiii. I could still go on about amazing books and writers, but these are just a few that are my personal favorites ( even if you don't like them this is just my opinion). #1 In dead mom! -May 2022 #1 in protective older brothers!- March 2023

Fix Me, I'm Broken
Walking into an empty house is normal to me. I guess I got tired of saying 'I'm home' when nobody is home to reply. It wasn't always like this. I remember when our family was close. Now we don't see each other any more. We don't talk to each other. We don't eat with each other. We don't ACKNOWLEDGE each other. This all happened after my 'Mother' killed herself. My father blames me. This is my story about how I learned to not count on anyone else but myself. I'm broken. I'm used. No one can fix me.
