Olivia Morris wasn't supposed to be on the highway to Atlanta. No, she should have been past there hours ago, joining her unit in the city to secure the refugee center from these aggressive attacks the news broadcasters have been screaming about.
But she never makes it there.
Failing to report on time and a chance encounter lead to her joining the Atlanta camp. She's more than happy to forget her past- and anything having to do with the military. But when someone comes along who forces her to face her past, will Olivia rise to the occasion? Or will she prove to be nothing but a coward?

Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that.
