It is 10-year-old Ashley Taylor's birthday, and her dream is to become a Loomian trainer. She receives a Weevolt from her mother, AKA the Loomian professor. Ashley is driven by her desire to win the Roria region's Loomian League, a Loomian Regional Championships for outstanding trainers who compete against each other in Loomian battles. To qualify for the championship, Ashley must collect the required number of medals, which are tokens earned after defeating each of the Roria region's elite Battle Stars. But things change when Ashley's father uncovers a tablet found in a dig site that causes an outbreak of corrupted Loomians throughout all of Roria. It is up to Ashley to find all eight fragments of the Tablet and teleport them back to the lab. Ashley isn't doing this alone, along her journey, she's getting help from her new friends. Lucas, Lucy, Mabel....and Jake.
