At the end of 1939, as World War II erupted in Europe, a massive structure suddenly appeared in Japan. The building, labeled the National Diet Library, contained books and records up to the year 2020.

The Army, Navy, and government attempted to conceal it, but the military, now aware of the future, saw the inevitable war with the United States as unavoidable. Armed with future knowledge and technology, they resolved to steer conflict toward victory.
