This is a horror AU (Alternate Universe) fanfiction set in the Bluey universe. While it features characters from the beloved children's show, this story explores dark, adult themes that are completely removed from the original series' wholesome nature.
This is a work of horror fiction intended for mature audiences only. If you're looking for wholesome Bluey content, this is not the story for you. However, if you're interested in well-crafted horror that respects character development while exploring dark themes, I hope you'll give it a chance.
I plan to write more horror AU Bluey stories based on different concepts and scenarios. Follow me if you're interested in seeing familiar characters through a much darker lens.

Serendipity's Interlude (Sequel to The Call)
After Serendipity's passing, things changed, both on the surface and in the waters. She created a new type of a Guardian, an order of Sisters, rather than simple lone warriors. They live together, laugh together, and fight for their lives together. Just as before, the humans hunt them, but someone leaked news of Serendipity after her death and all around the world Sisters are lost in combat. When one of her sisters is severely injured, Madeline, the leader of her family, must break the most important rules of the order: go to the surface. On the surface, the humans have recovered, albeit more curious than before. Serendipity's friends have moved on with their lives, given decades to recover from the shock of her death. Thawing the Soldier
James Buchanan Barnes, Bucky for short, has been struggling with finding his identity and healing without Steve Rogers, six months after they rectified the Blip in what the world now calls The Infinity Wars. He is now working with Sam Wilson on a new case involving the group the Flag Smashers. When Sam invites Bucky to a small gathering for a fish fry when they first reconnect, Bucky gives in despite his frustrations and wanting not to. Sam had three simple rules, one was "Don't flirt with my sister. Any family really is off limits..." But Bucky may have to break that rule, and already betray his new friend. Bucky enjoys the gathering and connects with others. When he meets Nadzia Rex he hits it off with her faster than he thought he would. He even tried to forget her after their first intimate encounter and goes on a date with a waitress when home in Brooklyn. But the two keep in touch and he finds himself constantly returning to De La Croix, Louisiana to do more than check in with Sam Wilson. The question then becomes is this just a fling or something more? This fanfiction will have romance, Bucky Barnes fluff, Sam Wilson Fluff (briefly), found family, healing and acceptance. It is Bucky and an Original character who is purely human. (This takes place during The Falcon and The Winter Soldier after episode two entitled The Star Spangled Man. I am planning a series of stories where it'll be pure Bucky Fluff and him finding himself and happiness that leads to the more adjusted Congressman Barnes in Thunderbolts.
