Whatever the answer to that question, they must live with the consequences of their decision, overlaid with all the other things they have going on in their lives: the arrival of their friends' twins, the construction and completion of their new house, and Greg's efforts to finally sell his movie. In the process they learn something more about the way the Lord is and has moved through them and their various lives, leading them to the next set of challenges He has in store for them.
