Understudy

The body of a young woman is found backstage of a successful broadway show. The cast and crew are shocked and do their best to deal with what looks like an overworked aspiring actress succumbing to the pressures of the industry and choosing a way out. The star of the show, Marjie, is determined not to let this incident dim her shine - until she finds out that the unfortunate woman was supposed to be her understudy.
