Adelaide wants one thing more than anything else: to escape. She's sick of Gravity Falls and the only thing holding her back is a high school diploma. With nothing but work to look forward to this summer and no company but her dog, Brandy, Adelaide is feeling the burden of the bad luck that has been circling the town for the last few years.
It isn't until she meets Dipper and Mabel Pines that she learns the bad luck may have a deeper meaning than she originally thought. The three of them and Brandy decide to uncover the truth behind the plague of misfortune.
This path leads them to places they had never envisioned. What starts as a summer adventure leads to nothing short of a nightmare that the three must endure to save the town once again.
