In a world divided by power and pride, two great colonies rose above all others: Pyrestone, the Fire Colony, and Permafrost, the Ice Colony.

Pyrestone was a land of blazing deserts, volcanic mountains, and golden wealth, ruled by the fierce King Eros, the Fire King, whose flames could bend even steel. Permafrost stood in majestic contrast-an empire of glacial peaks, silver rivers, and eternal snow. Its ruler, Queen Eirene, known as the Goddess of Peace, reigned with wisdom and calm that could still even the fiercest storm.

Though rich in land and resources, the Fire and Ice colonies were richer still in pride. Wars had been declared, blades raised, flames and frost unleashed-yet for reasons shrouded in mystery, true war never erupted. Instead, an uneasy peace stretched between them, thin as glass, ready to shatter at any moment.

Far from these kingdoms, in the humble Terra-known to many as the Earth Colony-a child was born. She was raised by a poor family, unaware of the blood that flowed within her veins. But as she grew, the truth could no longer be hidden.

Her eyes burned crimson when fury rose within her... and in the next breath, frost danced from her fingertips. Fire and ice lived in her, warring for control.

Who was she? Where did she belong-among fire, among ice, or in neither?
