Rin Hayakawa, a 25-year-old office worker, was on her way home clutching a Chainsaw Man manga when she was suddenly struck by a truck and thrown into another world.

Awakening in the world of Jujutsu sorcery, she was bound to a mysterious system that told her only this:

Exorcise curses. Grow stronger. Defeat the great demon. Save the world.

Reborn into the past, Rin found herself as the neighbor of a boy named Geto Suguru. In middle school, she became a constant presence by his side, an unexpected light in his world.

Together with their friends, they shared youthful days at Tokyo Jujutsu High, even surviving the Star Plasma Vessel mission.

But fate was cruel. On a later mission, Rin - once a prodigy sorcerer who had never known defeat - vanished without a trace.

Geto's world collapsed.
