Svetlana Romanoff, fraternal twin sister to Natasha Romanoff, was born in 1984 and raised in the Red Room. Unlike Natasha, Svetlana was marked from an early age as something more. Whispers of strange abilities followed her-unexplainable phenomena, shadows moving at her command, and the unsettling sense that death itself lingered near her. She quickly surpassed her peers, even outshining Natasha in skill.

When the twins attempted to escape the Red Room together, they were discovered. In a devastating betrayal, Natasha revealed that she had told Dreykov about her sister-an insurance policy to ensure her own freedom. Whispering an apology, Natasha abandoned her twin, choosing survival over family.

Dragged away by guards, Svetlana's latent powers erupted. Her eyes filled with swirling black smoke, and within seconds, every Red Room agent lay dead. Standing among the bodies were Tony Stark, his bodyguards, and a team of shadowy operatives. While his men froze in horror, Tony's pragmatism took over-he ordered Svetlana brought to the car, demanding a doctor on standby.

Taken to the United States under Tony's protection, Svetlana begins to bond with him. Traumatized and scarred, she clings to him with a fierce, obsessive loyalty that borders on possessive. She becomes his shadow, his protector, and, at times, his darkest secret. Tony, ever the strategist, wonders if there is more to her powers than chance-and if her devotion hides something far greater.

Because Svetlana is not merely gifted. She is Death incarnate, a cosmic entity in human form, bound by fate to walk beside him.
