After Alex Shepard left, Shepard Glen went into a world of terror. Sunshine and nice weather was replaced by fog and darkness. During the day, skinless dogs and mermaid like creatures roam the town in search for victims who lived in Shepard Glen. During the night, sirens would go off and the world of grates, fans, rust, blood, and much more creatures would fill Shepard Glen.
You lived in Shepard Glen as friends with Alex. When he came back from the war, you met up with Alex in a bad moment. You guys fight your way through your town to find away to stop this nightmare.
You begun to grow feelings for Alex. Would Alex feel the same?

A Face Made For Daylight
I've always had a deep love for writing, even when I was still finding my voice. This piece is a reflection of that early stage. It's purposely raw, imperfect, and, at times, unpolished. But the story is, in my humble opinion, the most beautiful narrative I've ever written. I'm fully aware of the grammatical missteps, the amateur structure, and the inconsistent formatting, but what it may lack in "perfect writing", I honestly believe it makes up for in heart. This was my first attempt at writing a novel, created during the stillness of the COVID lockdowns, a time when I was able to fully immerse myself in a story I deeply researched and completely lost myself in. It became less about perfection and more about the act of storytelling itself. I've grown as a writer since then, something that's more evident in my articles.
