After creating a clone of Sonic, Eggman is glad it works as a proper clone but it works a little too well. Soon enough the clone ends up defeating the real Sonic and taking control of Mobius, turning it into a hellscape with very few survivors. Now Tails and Knuckles are the only ones who could destroy this monster and bring back peace to all of Mobius.
