SHATTERED DEVOTION

𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐯 × 𝐀𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚 | 𝟑𝟐 × 𝟐𝟓

Everything was silent. Not a single voice could be heard in the banquet haul. Everyone went extremely quiet..Even the elder ones covered the faces of their children not letting them see the scene unfolding in the present.

And the reason for this silence was a sudden sound that caused this shift in the atmosphere.

THUD!!

A slap that she threw across the cheek of the man standing in front of her. She could not resist herself. Not when such an unfair thing was taking place in front of her own eyes.

"That's what you get for ruining someone's life, for making a girl widow seconds after she got married, making a mom cry out for her son, destroying-" Just as with the utter disgust she was saying this, a large hand slid beneath her waist and across her neck. And in less than 5 seconds she was in his arms.

"H-have you gone mad? Put me down. You don't know who I am. I said put me down or else-"

"Or else, What will you do 𝘥𝘪𝘭𝘳𝘶𝘣𝘢?"
His deep voice shattered her left over confidence. And the sudden nickname given by him made her flabbergasted.

"I will ruin you. I will show you the power of law..put me down first."
She was uttering confident words. But her trembling hands and wobbling chin said otherwise.

He was not bothered, he kept walking to the mandap and settled her in his lap. He gently brushed a few strands of her hair and in a cold deep voice, said to the pandit-

"𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐡 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭.." But Just as pandit ji was about to refuse because he was seeing the crime happening in front of him..He spoke again"𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐫 𝐣𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐤𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐣𝐭𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐢..𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚."
