Katrina Conklin and Laurel has never had a great bond or relationship, she's blamed for their split up; her birth was the end of something "good". Ever since then her siblings have also blamed her for the split of the family. She's never felt like she fit in with the Fishers either, every summer was her hell but their heaven.

Until one summer where her crush confesses his undying love to her.
