I remember all the tears I poured over a guy. I remember all the yelling that led into a fight. I remember the guy with ashy blonde hair and ocean blue eyes... "I just want to be with him." I cry blowing into another tissue Katniss and Peeta are now in college and they are beginning to get closer and closer. What happens if they go in different directions, one thinks they're happy and the other cries with their back against the wall, one of them repeats this sentence over and over again, "I just want to be with you." In what used to be North America, the proud country of Panem now stands. The rulers from the Capitol hold a televised survival competition in which one male and one female between the ages of twelve and eighteen are reaped to fight to to death in an arena designed to be as deadly as the tributes, themselves. This game is forever known as The Hunger Games. Peeta Mellark, District Twelve's Baker's son, has been, madly in love with his companion, Katniss Everdeen, since the small age of five. Ever since tragedy gave him enough courage to ask for her hand, the unspeakable happens. Katniss's little sister, Primrose, is reaped for the death sentence. Peeta watches helplessly as his lover volunteers to take her place in the Games. Soon after, Peeta is reaped himself. He knows that only one will come out alive: someone smart, determined, and strong enough. And it would be his love. It had to be. This is my verson of The Hunger Games, originally writen by Suzanne Collins.
