Five years ago, Ben Ripley vanished during a covert Arctic mission gone wrong.
The world - and Spy School - believed he was dead.

Everyone except Erica Hale.

Despite the evidence, Erica never accepted Ben's death. Her instincts - and her heart - told her he was still out there. She was right.

After being ambushed and kidnapped by a secret coalition of their old enemies, Ben managed to escape - wounded, alone, and forced to disappear. Weeks later, through an encrypted channel known only to the two of them, Ben reached out to Erica one last time. He told her the truth: the ambush had been a setup to remove him from the picture, paving the way for a new global operation years in the making.

To stop it, Ben would have to vanish completely.

With Erica's reluctant blessing, Ben fled across the world to Japan, where he assumed a new identity with the help of Jessica Shang, an unlikely ally who gave him shelter and a cover life. Hidden from every intelligence network, Ben was soon drawn into the shadows - recruited by a secret organization that trained him to become one of the most skilled covert operatives alive.

Five years later, Ben Ripley is no longer the awkward kid who tripped through Spy School missions. He's taller, colder, fluent in six languages, and scarred inside and out - a master of survival shaped by silence and regret.

But when he discovers that the same organization that hunted him now has its sights set on Erica Hale, Ben must step out of the shadows and face his past.

Because some missions never end.
And some connections can't be erased - no matter how long you've been gone.

This is my first fanfic- Ben is now 6 years a spy, and somehow competent. A legend around the school and the CIA, he's content with his life, but what happens when an old foe comes out of hiding and stirs up trouble? What about the new syndicate and who is the mysterious Cain? This story has Berica, Zike and old and new friends. I published this on Fanfiction.net but couldn't figure out how to add more chapters. Prepare to be kicked in the emotional balls. Warning: I've become the Uncle Rick of Spy School fanfiction, so prepare to be mad at me for the rest of your life. Thanks for reading! "It felt like I was watching someone else's life. It was like a movie. Pictures flashed around me, and I saw myself receiving an award from a man in a suit. I saw Alexander I saw myself running with Erica as a silo blew up behind us. I saw a scene where I was shaking hands with Zoe, Warren behind her. I saw Warren's betrayal. I saw the moment I realized Murray was the mole. I saw myself laughing, playing on the beach with Ashley and Nefarious. I saw me desperately trying to diffuse a bomb. I saw I saw many different things. Acts of love, hatred, betrayal. Then, I saw the deaths. I saw the death of Warren, as he took a bullet to the stomach. I saw the day I was shot too, Erica above me, screaming. I saw myself shooting Joshua Hallal in the head, and Erica crying over his body. I felt a surge of jealousy at the scene too. I saw Murray Hill's hand reach into his pocket, and take out the cyanide pill. I remember... everything." Chapter 14 Has been ranked: #1 in #spyschool #1 in #benripley
Spy School: Was It All A Dream? by thezestywalru
30 parts Complete
"I sighed and put my head in my hands. I told her everything. I told her everything about my dream. I told her about how we had kissed there. I told her about how we had defeated SPYDER. I told her how I woke up. I told her about my fear of waking up and my parents not knowing what I was talking about. I entailed my terror of seeing people who had died in the dream. I told her about my shock of seeing her in my classroom, and her not knowing me. The heartbreak of seeing her with Joshua because I knew it wouldn't end well and I was still in love with her. The feeling of foreboding. The moles. The sacrifices. Death. Everything I thought I had experienced. I continued up until this point. I told her about Experiment Aucipis. I told her that I was in danger of the syndicate finding out and coming to kill me. I couldn't let anyone get near me unless they could protect themselves." (Chapter 22) Ben has the life he always dreamed of: being a spy. He's finally defeated an evil organization called Spyder. The spy life may not be as cool as he originally thought it would be, but he's dating his crush, Erica Hale, has amazing best friends, and is about to become a spy. And then, he doesn't... Ben wakes up in a hospital bed in age 17. He learns that he's been in a coma for 5 years, ever since he was twelve, and his whole life has been a dream. Worst of all, Erica isn't real... Or is she? From Annaleise Clair comes another Spy School fanfiction, one fill with twists and turns, but will not be as heartwrenching as Agent Benjamin Ripley. Has been: #1 in Spy School

Life has moved on from the past thrilling adventure that Ben and Erica had undertook with newborn Emma. Ben and Erica have settled down nicely into jobs and were focusing on raising their child to be the next superspy in the Hale legacy. But that gets thrown off the tracks when Ben and Erica have to come out of retirement on a new mission. What will happen to Emma this time? Can the Hales figure out their mysterious foe that no one seems to know about? Will they all survive? It goes down in the third book in the Spy School books (by me). **I do not own any of these characters except for Emma Hale, the rest belong to Stuart Gibbs, as well as some locations mentioned in the book. I, for the most part, only own the plot**
